Prague 3 is one of the oldest parts of Czech metropolis located east of the city centre and includes almost whole area of Vinohrady and Žižkov. Both of these quarters are occupied about 70 thousand people. Dominants of Prague 3 are undoubtedly television transmitter Žižkov Tower and hill Vitkov with statue of Jan Žižka. Other interesting places are Olšanské cemeteries, Flora and Square of Jiří z Poděbrad (Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad) with its characteristic church. Žižkov is also famous for hundreds of good pubs and clubs like Palác Akropolis.
